Kraków & Małopolska in English

Łukasz Kurbiel

Po polsku: strona główna Niezwykłej Małopolski

Hi, I’m Łukasz! Niezwykła Małopolska means „Extraordinary Lesser Poland”. Since 2012 I have been exploring Kraków and the region around it: castles and ruins, mountain trails, caves, legends and small towns most visitors never see. Most of my site is in Polish, but here you will find my guides in English.

About me and how I work

Niezwykła Małopolska is my hobby project, not a travel agency. I write about places I know, and I use my own photos wherever I can. When a photo comes from someone else, I name the author or source.

  • Prices and opening hours change. I mark the month I last checked them, but please confirm before you go.
  • Some texts and videos are made with the help of AI tools (for example translation, captions and voice-over), and I check every one of them before it goes online.
  • Affiliate links: some pages may include links to tours or tickets. If you book through them, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. I never put such links on pages about places of remembrance.

Found a mistake or have a question? Write to me at niezwyklamalopolska@gmail.com. I read every message.
